In life, we come across many different types of people in this walk of life; one of them being those that wish to pass judgment on others. There is always that one person that wants to cast stones on others for their past life or for their past mistakes or their flaws. First of all, almost all of us have checkered pasts and have made mistakes in our lives which we wish we could take back. However, we have done the right thing by moving on and committing ourselves to worshiping the one true Yah. We have devoted ourselves to loving The Most High and His Son each day that we are blessed to come across. We are moving forward in our lives and are looking to do better. However, there are those who may catch wind of our past and choose to cast aspersions because of our past mistakes. These people are living in the past and are in the back end of life. They are back-sliding instead of sliding forward in motion. They are busy worrying about what we did in our past meanwhile we are focusing on doing well in the present. Honestly, it truly makes no sense at all as to why someone would choose to gossip or talk about someone else’s past. It is all a waste of time and is secular. It is not productive. The thing is that most people in life are not productive. Being productive does not solely mean that you are running 5 businesses at once or are working long hours and have no time to sit down and have a drink. Being productive means that you are doing things which are building towards something that will benefit you in the future. It could be reading up on information pertaining to nutrition or watching videos pertaining to strength and combat training. It could be reading scriptures or creating products that will turn into a profit for you. These are all productive things. You don’t have to always be on your feet or do anything physical for you to be productive. With most people though, they’re busy talking about someone else’s life and are stuck worrying about what they’ve done in their past.

Here’s the thing, none of us who are in the flesh have the right to cast stones on anyone else as if we are the sinless wonders who are spot clean. None of us are spot clean. We all have flaws and we all have mistakes. None of us are sinless or perfect. That being said, we can’t sit back and judge everyone else in saying what they aren’t as people or what they should be doing; especially when we’re not practicing the same things that we ourselves are castigating others for supposedly not doing. This is not to say that there are no judges in the flesh as in the biblical times, the nation of Israel had their judges and the biblical men would judge others. However, that is of an entirely different context. In this case, people want to castigate others for past life mistakes. For example, a person in truth may have had a past life of violence, lust, drug addiction, alcoholism, witchcraft, etc. They make it known because it is a testament to the incredible mercy and power of the Most High and His Son to show forgiveness and bring them to the truth. It is to honor Yahweh Elohim for His glory. We have all said and done bad things. After we’ve come to the truth, we have turned away from our past mistakes. This hearkens to 1 Corinthians 13:11 when it states, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” We truly become men once we immerse ourselves into the love of the Most High and His Son because from that comes wisdom, knowledge, discernment, strength, responsibility, etc. We were children in our thoughts, speech, and actions before we were humbled and humbled ourselves before the Creator. We acknowledge our past mistakes and we move on from it but we remember it to remind ourselves of where we used to be as individuals and how low we were mentally, spiritually, and physically.

People who pass judgment on others for their past mistakes simply are not living in the present. If you’re not living in the present then you’re not living at all and certainly those who spend all their time gossiping about others and judging them are not living. We cannot judge each other in truth for what we’ve done in the past and cast stones to act as if they’re not worthy of being in truth. You want to know why? That is because if they were truly not worthy of being in this truth then they wouldn’t be here to begin with. We are not specifically chosen by Yahweh Ben Yahweh to be awakened and be of truth but we are led in the right path to do so. If we do right and we choose to follow the truth then the Most High will open the doorway for us to understand and find the truth of this life. Since that person has found the truth and is with us now, how can you cast stones against them solely for their past? You are not the one who has the right to judge others for their past mistakes. Only the Most High has that right. If you’re going to cast stones and judge them to claim that they shouldn’t be here or whatever you want to say, you’re basically showing that you think that your word or declaration is of more merit than the Most High’s. If we are to judge anyone in the truth, we are to judge them based off of their actions in the present. The present is what matters. It is a whole other thing when someone is doing and saying wicked things at the current moment as that is truly a wolf in sheep’s clothing or someone who has a double-forked tongue. However, that is not the case here with certain people.

Most of the time if not all the time, people who spend their time passing judgment on others have their own checkered past and have their own flaws which are currently wildly apparent. Sometimes, they may have made past mistakes which are even more grievous than the past of those who they are casting stones against. These are the people who live in glass houses. Do not cast stones when you live in glass houses; meaning in this case that you don’t judge others with the same sentiment that also applies to you. When you do so, the ground you’re standing on gives way and you collapse. The glass house you’re living in collapses on top of you and you end up falling flat on your face because that same judgment can be applied and does apply to you as well.

This is the Pharisee mindset which people inhibit. They act as if they know all things and that they’ve got everything figured out. Remember in Matthew 12:1-11 when the Pharisees casted aspersions on Christ and His disciples for supposedly breaking the Sabbath? They were of this pretentious attitude in thinking that they had the right to judge Yahweh Ben Yahweh for what He and His disciples were doing on the Sabbath day. Christ would then correct them and show them the truth in that it was permissible to do well on the Sabbath by using the example of helping the sheep up from the pit. The Pharisees would try to judge Yahweh Ben Yahweh even though they themselves were culpable for a lot more egregious things.

Even later on in the chapter in Matthew 12:22-32 which describes the act of Christ healing the possessed man and the castigation of the Pharisees by claiming that he was under the power of Beelzebub, it shows the mindset of the Pharisees in that they think that they know it all and that they can cast judgment on everything. Christ would of course correct them by letting it be known that it wouldn’t make sense for him acting under the command of Satan to expel a demon from another vessel because as he would state in Matthew 12:26 stating, “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” You see, the Pharisees thought they knew it all and that they figured out Christ but in all reality, they were of zero understanding whatsoever. Just when you think you have everything figured out, you get hit with truth and realize that there’s understanding that goes far beyond you. Knowledge is essential but it is not the whole. Charity is the whole in conjunction with the adherence to the laws, statutes, and commandments of the Most High as stated in 1 Corinthians 13.

Another point to be made is that even Christ was accused of witchcraft. John of Patmos was also accused of witchcraft as well. There is always one faction of men or particular group of people who wish to pop up and try to cast stones on others in truth for their past or accuse them of alleged wickedness. Even if one has done such things in their past, it doesn’t make it right to try and cast stones when they’re doing right, have repented, and are moving on to do better. Paul had a checkered past himself as he persecuted the Church, meaning the followers of Christ. He was able to turn himself around through the mercy of Yahweh Elohim and His Son to do well and preach the gospel to the Gentiles. With this Pharisee mindset, you are to judge Paul for what he did in his past and overlook everything good he did afterwards once he repented and found the favor of the Most High. This is the same exact thing that you’re doing when you judge a person in truth for their past mistakes even though they’ve turned themselves around and are doing good things since then.

This brings us to Matthew 12:31-32 which makes it clear of what the Most High deems as unforgivable.

Matthew 12:31 states, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” That means that sins which we would deem as unforgivable are forgivable in the Most High’s eyes. Some would deem violence or whoredom or witchcraft to be unforgivable sins but Christ clearly states here in this verse that these mistakes shall be forgiven unto men. In turn, Christ makes it clear that the one and only unforgivable sin is the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit. That is the one sin which we cannot be forgiven of us. So we can feel however we want to feel about someone. If they are here now and are doing righteous things, they’ve already been given favor by the Most High and have found mercy. Our opinion does not matter at all.

Matthew 12:32 states, “And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” Christ further affirms here that even if one was to blaspheme Him the living Christ, they would be forgiven of their sin. If one however blasphemes or curses the Holy Ghost, they will not be forgiven of that sin and they will have their share in the lake of fire as affirmed in Mark 3:29 which states, “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:” It is as simple as that. If one was to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, their judgment is already upon them. We don’t have to say or do anything. However, if they’re still walking with us and are doing good deeds before the Most High’s church, it is not of our place to speak against them whatsoever because we have nothing to speak on. Even if someone is preaching or doing wicked things, it is not of our place to harp on every single that they do as they’ll get their just due. However, it is another thing if a person is offending the little ones and is manipulating people and is turning them away from the Most High. That is a whole other thing which the right person should cast stones against because that is affecting people and is causing destruction of the congregation. Even a few people who are being deceived affect the entire congregation because that deception spreads like a disease. As stated by Paul in 1 Corinthians 5:6, “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” Paul is making it known that even a few deceptive statements of faultiness has a grand impact on the entire church; it spreads and spreads and inflates. This is the same thing with leaven; a little bit of leaven in the dough spreads within and causes the entire lump to rise greatly. That is why in that particular case of offending the little ones or preaching false teachings we speak against it. However, we are to speak against it with proper understanding and discernment.

To close off on this topic, it is extremely important for us to understand that we are to not fall into this glass house paradigm. We are not to cast stones against others for their past when others can cast stones against us for our own past as well. It makes no sense for us to do this because our attacks can be applied to us. As affirmed by Yahweh Ben Yahweh Himself, the only unforgivable sin is the blasphemy in cursing and castigation of the Holy Spirit. The total rejection of the Holy Spirit and of Christ’s salvation in blasphemy is unforgivable. No matter what one’s past may be, if they’re still here and are doing the works, instead of erroneously passing judgment on them for their past, we should be focusing on spreading charity and embracing them in the truth as a brother. It doesn’t mean we have to hit them up every minute of every day and be brown nosers. We should show respect and kindness toward them as a brother and sister in this truth. That is the default position we should take. As we stated before, their wrongful words or actions spoken or committed in the present is a whole other thing. As for general principle, we show them respect and kindness from a place of charity. If they choose to reject your respect and kindness, that is on them. As long as you do your part and are good-willed spiritually, you are not to worry. Let’s focus on the Most High and His Word while spreading forth charity instead of wasting time castigating others and throwing stones in glass houses.
