As we grow closer and go deeper into these last days and into Revelation, we will be met with many obstacles. While the times which are coming for the righteous of first the Hebrews and then the Gentiles who are kept in mercy from the Most High are of great flourishing, we still have to be on the path to building the strength and resilience and endurance that is needed in order to make it through these last days. This is expressed in great detail through the book of Ephesians in Chapter 6 where we are implored to put on the full armor of Yah as stated in Ephesians 6:11 when it states, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” This armor is spiritual and is what we are all aiming to have. However, before we have armor, you have to form the metal through crafting in order to be able to have the armor. It’s the same thing with our spiritual armor. We must be able to form our armor through crafting it and that takes time and life experience. Our spirit develops as we ourselves develop as people. We may find rough patches in our life and will need to rely on our spirit through our relationship with Yahweh in order to be able to make it through those hard times. Whether we’re young or old in this life, we will always need our armor intact to fight off the troubles in which we may face. As we read certain verses in Ephesians 6, I just wanted to cover specifically the meaning of certain parts of armor and why those specific parts are tied to their given spiritual meaning.
This is Ephesians 6:14 and here it states, “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness”. When it states to have your loins girt about with truth, it is talking about the waist-belt within the armor. Now, what does the belt do? The belt helps hold up your pants or if you are a woman, your dress together. The belt helps keep your pants from falling. The belt represents stabilization. Even our abdominal wall and muscles along with the oblique muscles which run down to our pelvis helps keep us upright and standing straight. The abdominal wall protects our abdominal cavity and helps protect our internal organs from damage. It helps provide us stabilization and keep us upright. This is why the belt is made because you need that center of stabilization between the upper body and the lower body which is found with our pelvis. The belt of truth symbolizes that truth is what stabilizes us and our lives and is what keeps us upright. When we are truthful, it brings stability in our life. Even if telling the truth sets us at odds with others in our lives, it will provide you with clarity about those people and lead you to making the necessary decision to cut them out of your life; leading you to stability in the end. We need to let go of people who cause us confusion and try to lead us into avenues where we could do bad things. It is even more needed now than ever before because we are nearing the end. When your circle does not serve your best interests, you need to do the best you can to move out of that environment. It is easier said than done because sometimes our circles which do not serve our best interests are of our own families. To have on the belt of truth means to let the truth be what helps establishes stabilization within your spirit and within your life. As the waist belt helps keep our attire together, so does the truth help keep us upright within our journey.
Having on the breastplate of righteousness represents us having our heart or the house of our spirit to be imbued with righteousness. The chest which is covered by the breastplate has two sides; the left pectoral and the right pectoral muscles. The two sides of the chest connect to the sternum or the breastbone which is the root point of where our ribs connect to. Now, what does the rib cage house? The rib cage houses our lungs and we know that our lungs are what help us breathe through transfer of oxygen to the bloodstream and removing carbon dioxide. The chest also houses the heart which helps give oxygenated blood to the other parts of our body and receives deoxygenated blood and carries metabolic waste from the body to pump it into the lungs for oxygenation. Righteousness is what helps give us life. It is what helps us breathe and be living spiritually. Righteousness is what gives us a lifeline and keeps us living. That can only be made possible through a proper relationship with the Most High and an effort to progress as a servant for Him every-day. This comes with humility and due-diligence in keeping the commandments and being an overall better person. As the heart and the lungs give us life through oxygen, so does righteousness help give us life through a found purpose and mission to be a dutiful servant for the Most High.
Here is now Ephesians 6:15 where it states, “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.” Now, what do we always say to describe our life and relationship with the Most High and His Son? We say that we are walking on this spiritual journey or spiritual road to earn worthiness at the end of this road in our judgment for office with the Most High and His Son. The gospel of peace which is of the scriptures helps keep us on track. The scriptures are what guide us and keep us on the correct path to spiritual growth, strength and enlightenment. The preparation of the gospel is to have the gospel be as a foundation onto you in your life which you use to stay grounded. We are to stand firm and grounded through our adherence and understanding and firm grasp of the gospel. It is for us to use the scriptures to stand strong and be walking a fine line in our spiritual journey. When we do not walk accordingly to the scriptures, we stumble and do not have solid footing and we’re not exactly walking through our spiritual road; we’re sliding as if we are trying to walk on black ice with slippers. The scriptures are what help provide us with a base as the shoe helps provide our feet with a solid base to be able to walk outside. What happens when we attempt to walk barefoot outside? Our feet get caught in the gravel and nails and broken glass and we end up hurting ourselves. This is the same thing when we do not lead our lives accordingly to the laws, statutes, and commandments of the Most High. We end up getting into bad situations and end up being hurt by people who if we were led through the scriptures, we would be given the proper discernment by the Most High to extricate those people from our lives. This is the same thing with people who don’t follow the covenant. The covenant was not made by the Most High to restrict us or cause to have to walk on eggshells. The covenant was made by the Most High in order to protect us and give us a solid foundation to walk accordingly in our spiritual path. The Most High forbid us to eat of the swine and the bottom feeders because He Himself knew the ramifications of eating those things because He created them. It is to protect us; not to restrain us. The gospel is referred to in Ephesians 6:15 as being of peace because once we are immersed in the scriptures and the teachings of it, we are granted peace in our lives. Before we came into the truth, we were not of peace. Many of us were restless and frustrated with our lives because we wanted to know what the truth is and what our purpose is in this life. So many people now are still trying to find the truth and it is putting them at such spiritual anguish because they are not at peace since they haven’t found it. Once we found the truth through the mercy of Yahweh Elohim, we found peace and our lives are of peace. We can go to bed now not worrying about what the truth is since we have found it. It provides us with understanding of what the spiritual order of things are and it gives us an option on where we go with our lives. If we walk in this path and receive office with Yah, we know what our fate lies of in the afterlife. If we walk in the path of Lucifer and Satan, we know what our fate lies of in the afterlife after following them. We are at peace because we know what we ought to do now and how we are supposed to go. We are anxious when we don’t know what our options are and what we’re doing. We get scared when we don’t know what the outcome is or what is exactly that we’re doing. Our life is given meaning by the Most High and our actions should be done for a purpose which when done so, it eradicates that anxiety and leaves us with assuredness because we have already contemplated and are fully aware of what it is that we are doing. While there are times when we may have struggles or times of not being at peace because of others, we have the stabilization of truth through our belt and the life line of righteousness through our breastplate to keep us upright and strong to persevere and make the right decisions to make it out at the other end. As the feet helps us move forward and go from place to place, so does the gospel of peace help us move forward and go to greater places spiritually.
Here is now Ephesians 6:16 which states, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” The shield provides the soldier or warrior with protection against an oncoming attack. It acts as a form of defense against harm and provides us with protection to be left without serious damage. Our faith is our shield. It is what helps us be able to fend off the attacks of the wicked; whether it is principalities, demonic attacks through visions, people we come across, etc. When we don’t have faith, we don’t have a shield. When we do not have a shield, we are privy to all the attacks which our enemies throw against us. In order for us to be able to make it out of this fight for our spiritual crowns, we must have a shield. No man wins a fight without proper protection. Even men without a shield in hand who are fighting each other with gunfire, they hide behind a wall or a car or a tree to act as a shield. Even when you are sword fighting with no shield in hand, your sword and your own ability of evasion is your shield. Faith as defined in the Hebrew Concordance is that of reliance upon Christ for salvation, constancy in profession which is within the system of the truth of the gospel, and assurance. Faith is when you believe firmly in something that you can’t see or touch. The human being is so carnal and in need of seeing or hearing something in the flesh to believe it to be true. This is why so many people have trouble spiritually and have no faith because they themselves don’t understand what faith means and through that lack of understanding, suffer from all the attacks of the enemy because faith is the shield against the fiery darts of the wicked. Faith is the second most important thing to have within these last days; right after charity or having love for your brothers and sisters in this truth. We need faith in order to protect against the effects of the oncoming tribulations so we can make it to the end. This is why when people express fear from the possibility of threats of oncoming attacks against them from the planning and machinations of man, it is an exposure of their spiritual condition which is of open attack and is of no defense against it. As our shield protects us from the enemy’s attacks, our faith protects us against the works of the enemy.
Here is the final verse we are touching on which is of Ephesians 6:17 which states, “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Yah”. The helmet houses our head. Our heart in the scriptures represents our mind. Our mind holds our hope of salvation as described in 1 Thessalonians 5:8. The salvation is defined in the Hebrew Concordance as defense, deliverance, rescue or safety. It is our hope for Yahweh Ben Yahweh and His Angels for their deliverance from the principalities and demonic attacks from others, our safety during the times of tribulation, and our defense against the machinations of our spiritual enemies. Without our hope for salvation, we feel hopeless and when we have no hope for salvation, we submit to the whims of this world. We end up submitting to what man tells us is right for us to do. When we think there is no afterlife or higher purpose for us, we think that all there is to this world is our jobs, our house, our relationships, and paying our bills, we end up submitting to mandated orders by man and we submit to the tyranny of the spiritual rulers of this world. This is seen explicitly within society today as most people are either atheist or agnostic. Atheism and agnosticism is based in the understanding that there is no Supreme Creator or it is not of known certainty whether a Supreme Creator exists. Those are people who have no helmet for a hope for salvation or a shield of faith. The mind is what houses our understanding. When our mind houses false understanding and no hope for salvation, our head is privy to attack and is not protected by our spiritual helmet.
The sword of the Spirit is the word of Yah. The sword is of the Holy Spirit. The sword is a weapon which is used as a form of attack. The word of Yah is as the sword; it cuts through folly and deception. The truth comes from the word of Yah. The truth does not unite but it divides. This is seen clearly in Matthew 10:34 when Yahweh Ben Yahweh himself states, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” What Yahweh Ben Yahweh is signifying is that the Scribes and Pharisees believed he would come to unite and play along with them in their folly but He is coming to bring a sword with His Word and to cut through their folly and pierces through their deceptions. This signifies that the sword is of the mind and knowledge and truth of Yahweh Elohim and Son Yahweh Ben Yahweh. We are being commanded through Ephesians 6:17 that we ought to have the same mind and knowledge and hold the same truth as of Yahweh Elohim and Son Yahweh Ben Yahweh. We are to be like the Most High and His Son. It is through this that we are able to persevere against the attacks of our enemies and fend off their attempts to take us off track of our spiritual journey. The word of Yah and Yah’s Spirit is of the sword. When we possess this, we can fend off any attack and we will win all of our battles if we attack in the right way spiritually. As the sword helps fend off the attacks of the enemy and helps defeat our enemy in battle, so does the Word of Yah and the guidance of the Holy Spirit help us defeat our enemy in battle when we know exactly how to be led by the Spirit and practice the Word and how to fight and defend ourselves with the armor of Yah.
This is where we’ll leave things at. It is crucial and essential that we learn to build up the armor of Yah and then put it on our body or our temple in order to make it through these last days of tribulation. We build up the armor of Yah which is of the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the feet of the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit through vigilance and due-diligence in following the laws, statutes, and commandments of the Most High along with charity and growing stronger spiritually, mentally, and physically. All things such as understanding, knowledge, wisdom, and discernment comes together over time and experience as we are led by our journey in building up our armor first and then putting on the armor of Yah which is of putting all these things into fruition at an even higher level and coming into our highest form of spiritual, mental, and physical state as servants of the Most High walking through this path. If we fail to put on our armor, it is at our own expense. All Praises to the Most High Yahweh Elohim and Son Yahweh Ben Yahweh. Peace and Blessings.
